The shape of transport in Australia has altered greatly over the last two decades and more people are using 4WD vehicles for recreation, business and personal use. There are a number of things that drivers of these vehicles need to be aware of in order to operate their vehicles safely.

NDE offers 4WD courses which cover both On and Off Road use of vehicles. On Road courses educate drivers in areas such as centre of gravity, braking, general safety and the correct use of vision.

Off Road courses are an exciting, fun and educational experience where drivers can learn about their vehicle, its capabilities, use of Hi and Lo gear ranges through difficult terrain including various techniques for recovery of the vehicle from difficult situations.

An NDE 4WD course will ensure that drivers have a good understanding of their vehicle, that they can safely achieve their recreational or corporate needs while still maintaining the Ecological and Environmental needs of the community.

Corporate groups have successfully implemented an Off Road 4WD driver training session as a team building activity.
